Our After Care program offers a safe, nurturing, and joyful space for children to unwind and recharge after the school day. Rooted in the same values as our daily curriculum—rhythm, play, and connection—After Care provides open-ended outdoor time, seasonal crafts, storytelling, and familiar routines. 

The rhythm of after care reflects the school day—but with more freedom to unwind.

- Unstructured play in the schoolyard, garden, or woods
- Seasonal crafts, felting, or finger knitting
- Snack and storytelling
- Indoor options like puzzles, games, and reading corners

Our After Care teachers are experienced in creating a calm, connected atmosphere where children feel safe and free to be themselves

Program Hours

Children are grouped by developmental stage—Kindergarten, Lower Grades, and Upper Grades—with consistent staff and age-appropriate activities.The rhythm of after care reflects the school day, but with more freedom to unwind.

1:00-2:30 - Welcome, nap / rest
2:30-3:00 - Snack
3:00-4:30 - Free play and crafts
4:30-4:45 - Second snack
4:45-5:30 - Pickup Window

Grades 1-4
2:30-2:45 - Students Arrive
2:45-3:15 - Snack
3:30-4:45 - Crafting / free play
4:45-5:30 - Pickup Window

Grades 5-8
3:15-3:30 - Arrival & snack
3:30-4:30 - Daily class
4:45-5:30pm - Pickup Window

Registration Information
Golden Bridges Families can register using the form posted to ParentSquare.

Registration opens (via ParentSquare) on July 29th, 2025.
Registration closes on August 23rd, 2025.

Drop-in Policy: Space permitting, we support occasional drop-ins with timely notice. Unless there is an emergency, we are not able to support same-day drop-ins.

Paid Enrichment Classes

We also offer optional after-school classes throughout the year—taught by teachers and local partners. These classes vary by season and may include chess, tennis, art, movement, and more.
