Children 2-4 years old and an adult caregiver are warmly welcome to join our Parent-Child Class for a 6-week series.
Submit an Inquiry and you will receive more information to complete your registration. This series offers families a gentle entry into the world of school, providing a place to meet other families and create a community of young children. Each class offers an opportunity to connect, create, and enjoy a friendly and nurturing environment for adults and the developing child. Classes, led by Kaori Yamashita, Waldorf Early Childhood and World Language teacher, offer parent handwork, child observation skills, bread baking, circle time, and puppet shows. Teacher Kaori supports adults/caregivers to be with children in a connected, attuned and respectful way, and give them the space and freedom to learn and grow. We operate in McLaren Park for outdoor sessions and in the Golden Bridges School preschool space for indoor sessions and inclement weather. Classes are held unless there are health and safety concerns determined by the teacher in partnership with the school administration. Refer to our operational policies for air quality and weather guidelines. Tuesdays, 9:30am-11:30am Six class series - $250 Enrolling Now.... "Our goal should not to change the child, but to open ourselves to a true picture of the child so that we can offer them the care that best supports their health and wellbeing."
